Booker T Says UFC Star Ronda Rousey Won't Compete In WWE

Booker T mentioned during an interview at the C2E2 convention in Chicago that he thinks Ronda Rousey won’t wrestle for WWE after her appearance at WrestleMania 31 back in March.

“You know, I see Ronda doing what she does in the UFC. She does it better than anybody. I don’t see her coming into a WWE ring. I don’t think she would have any fun at all in a WWE ring.”
You can watch the interview below:

Hulk Hogan Landing A Major Movie Role

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan recently went on a press tour and had mentioned that he's training for a match at WrestleMania 32 as well as hints of his next movie project.

During a Q&A session at Body Pro Expo in England, Hogan had indicated he's up for a villain role in the next Expendables movie.

Below is what Hogan said:

"Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing The Expendables 4. We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend. We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out."

Stallone inducted Hogan in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and, yes, gave him his first film role in Rocky III as Thunderlips.

Big Fight Discussed for Brock Lesnar Within UFC

There is a very high possibility that the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar might not re-sign with WWE after WrestleMania 31 (where he is supposed to pass the torch). With that being said, UFC is currently the place where Lesnar is the most favorite to go. Although UFC President Dana White stated in an interview that he had no conversation with Lesnar regarding a possible return to UFC, apparently there have been talks about potential fights for Lesnar if he returns.
One of those fights was discussed to be against Frank Mir. Lesnar previously lost to Mir by submission at UFC 81, which was Lesnar’s UFC debut. Lesnar then defeated Mir by TKO at UFC 100 to unify the titles. Mir’s last UFC fight came in February 2014, a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 169.
The UFC 100 Pay-Per-View, which was headlined by Lesnar & Mir, is the most bought UFC pay-per-view of all time with a buyrate of 1.6 million. If there ever is a Lesnar-Mir III, then it will definitely be a big money match!

Huge WrestleMania 31 Three-Way with The Underaker?, Reigns’ Title Win, More

We noted earlier that the latest issues between Triple H and Vince McMahon have to do with WrestleMania 31 plans and the creative direction of Triple H’s character when he returns to TV. It was noted that Triple H wants to face Sting at WrestleMania but Vince wants to do Sting vs. The Undertaker.

However, Vince is okay with Triple H vs. Sting if Taker doesn’t return, which is why they began the Triple H – Sting feud at Survivor Series.

With that said, Triple H wants a match at WrestleMania against Sting whether Taker returns or not.

Triple H has floated the idea of doing a three-way with Taker vs. Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 31. A source noted that this might not be a bad idea after all because it would be easier to carry Taker. The outcome that was pitched would see Reigns pin Taker if Lesnar re-signs with WWE or Reigns pin Lesnar if Brock doesn’t re-sign with WWE.

Backstage Update on Sting vs. Triple H and Sting vs. The Undertaker

We noted before that there was still talk during Survivor Series weekend that Sting would be facing The Undertaker in his first match for WWE.

Then after Sting debuted at Survivor Series, word came out last week that Sting may end up wrestling more than one match for WWE but they were apparently building to a match against Triple H.

Rob Feinstein of RF Video, who has broken many scoops in the past, wrote several hours before Sting’s debut that he heard The Undertaker wouldn’t be facing Sting and that a match with Triple H was in the works. Feinstein wrote the following hours before Survivor Series:

“From what I been hearing I think Undertaker is done and the plans are for Sting and HHH at Mania…but anything can change but that is what I have been told”.

Sting teases a Big Match for WrestleMania 31 before he Retires

Wrestling legend Sting spoke to Mirror.co.uk this week to hype his involvement in the upcoming WWE 2K15 video game. Sting spoke about a variety of topics, including why he decided to finally work with WWE after all these years, if he’s interested in joining the WWE Hall of Fame, memories of his former tag team partner The Ultimate Warrior and his desire to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31.
Here are the highlights of what Sting said about:
Finally Working With WWE: “Why now? It’s a now or never thing. I’ve done so many things in the wrestling business but the one thing I’d never done was wrestle or be a part of the WWE family I didn’t want too hang it all up and retire and disappear again without having done that in some capacity.”
Joining The WWE Hall Of Fame: “Obviously it would be a great honour to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It’s nothing that I would say no to, that’s for sure.”
Memories Of The Ultimate Warrior: “Now I can look back and realise just how amazing it all was. It’s remarkable really that both of us ended up taking it all as far as we did.”
“It would seem like every three, four, five years or so we’d bump into each other. He called me twelve years ago, he needed some help with some stuff and of course I was there to help him out as much as I could. We never really kept in contact, but it was always friendly when we did. With his resurgence with WWE I was really looking forward to reconnecting with him again, and maybe even working with him in some capacity through WWE.”
Wanting To Wrestle The Undertaker: “I’ve made it clear I’d love to have one last hurrah, one last big match hopefully. And of course I’ve been outspoken about Undertaker being the opponent. I know what happened at Wrestlemania where Brock Lesnar broke his streak. I think, or at least I’m hoping, that Taker’s still going to come back and that he’s not done. If he’s not done, and he would consider doing it, I’d love to work with him one time.
“I’d love to wrestle him one time before I call it quits. Undertaker maintained a status in wrestling and the WWE that is second to none. He’s a phenomenon,”
“How about San Francisco, 2015, in April?”

WrestleMania Plans Change for Top Star

Zeb Colter continues to tweet about The Real Americans getting a WWE Tag Team Title shot at WrestleMania XXX after their non-title win over The Usos last night. UFC’s Ronda Rousey Wrestling a Match at WrestleMania ?

TMZ has posted the footage of UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey practicing pro wrestling moves with roommate and fellow UFC fighter Shayna Baszler last week.
TMZ reports that Rousey would be interested in wrestling a match at WrestleMania but this year’s show is out of the question, due to her training and movies. Rousey apparently would be willing to appear at WrestleMania 31 next year, as long as her “Four Horsewomen crew” can come with her – Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.

Backstage News on Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

For what it’s worth, it was noted on last night’s RAW that the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX will carry the Andre statue for the next year. It’s possible they do the match annually.

WWE Gives The "Middle Finger" To CM Punk

When CM Punk first walked out on WWE and the idea of Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H at WrestleMania XXX began being discussed, people in every aspect of the company did not believe that Bryan would get pushed. Something changed over the past few weeks and that was CM Punk deciding not to come back to the company.

A number of people in WWE have gone from being silent and patient when Punk first walked out to having attitudes like, "how dare he not come back and be a part of WrestleMania."

It's suggested within WWE that the "Yes Movement" angle with Daniel Bryan on Monday's RAW and some of the verbiage used was meant to be a "middle finger" to Punk and an underlying message that "this could have been you but now it won't be."

Will WWE change their WrestleMania finish ?

This week on Raw, Triple H agreed to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania but a stipulation was put forward by Bryan which Triple H accepted. The Stipulation is "If Daniel Bryan beats Triple H at WrestleMania, he gets added to the WWE World Heavyweight Title match in the Main Event of WrestleMania XXX".
But before this stipulation, Batista was scheduled to win the Title at WrestleMania & go on to hold the title till SummerSlam where he was scheduled to face John Cena or Daniel Bryan. But now if Bryan is scheduled to win the title at WrestleMania, then Batista gets completely out of the title picture & if he's out of the title picture, his return is a complete waste.
So we can't count out the original finish of the match where Batista was scheduled to win.

More Possible Evidence Of Vince McMahon Returning After WrestleMania XXX

Some have called it “notable” that Stephanie McMahon left out mentioning her father when talking about how her great grandfather and grandfather built this company, and now she owns it, during her heated exchange with Daniel Bryan during the “occupy RAW” segment this past Monday night.
As previously reported, there is a possibility that Vince McMahon will be returning to television as a regular character following WrestleMania XXX in April.

Road Dogg Injured

Road Dogg is dealing with a back injury that’s kept him out of action for a few weeks. No word yet on the extent of the injury. There had been talks that the New Age Outlaws would challenge The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XXX, but it remains to be seen if the match will actually take place.

Bad Backstage News on Batista

A new internal list was made this past week with the 5 names that WWE is projecting to be their 5 biggest Superstars going forward after WrestleMania XXX. Those names are John CenaDaniel Bryan,Randy OrtonSheamus and Roman Reigns. The biggest surprise is that Batista is not on the list.

Possible Situation at WrestleMania XXX

According to me, Triple H & Daniel Bryan will have a grueling match but as we all know, Triple H will be defeated & Bryan advances to the Main Event Title match. Triple H gets pissed by this & attacks Bryan after the match & assaults him with a Sledgehammer.

Then throughout the night Michael Cole will discuss with the announce team "Guys how in the world is Daniel Bryan gonna be able to compete after that vicious attack by HHH?". But in the end Bryan will over come the odds and win the Triple Threat title match at WrestleMania & send the fans home happy.
